You can create stations and assign commerce categories to them directly from the back office. This lets you control which categories each station can access, so staff at each station only see the items relevant to them.
How to set it up
Create the station from the Stations page.
Go to Commerce → Manage → Categories.
Open each category and select which stations should be able to view it.
Save your changes.
New categories are available at all stations by default. If a category should be limited, remove the stations that shouldn't see it.
Example setup
Pro shop station – only retail categories, such as equipment and apparel.
Concession station – only food and beverage categories.
Manager station – all categories, including any internal or restricted categories.
Tips
A category will only show at the stations it's assigned to, so double check that restricted categories aren't assigned to stations that shouldn't access them.
You can assign the same category to multiple stations.
