Purchase a Global Punch Pass from a Session (Consumer)

Let customers buy a global punch pass directly from a session, select events, and check out in one flow.

Before you start

  • A Global Punch Pass can be used across eligible sessions (based on your configuration).

  • If you set weekly limits (e.g., 3 punches/week), the event picker will enforce them.

  • If the pass is membership-gated, the customer may be prompted to add a membership during checkout.

Purchase a global pass from a session (consumer view)

  1. Open the session the customer wants to attend (e.g., Public Skate – Fall Session) and click Register now.

  2. Choose the pass the customer wants to buy.

  3. Select events for the pass.

    • Pick dates/times to redeem punches now.

    • When you reach the weekly cap, remaining dates in that week are greyed out and cannot be selected.

    • (Optional) Display of spots left helps customers choose events with availability.

  4. Choose add‑ons (optional).

    • Add per‑pass or per‑event add‑ons (e.g., skates rental).

    • Or click Skip to continue without add‑ons.

  5. Select the participant (who the pass is for).

    • If the household has multiple profiles, pick the right person (e.g., Jane).

  6. Review and add to cart.

    • Confirm pass details, events selected, add‑ons, and price.

    • Click Add to cart, then proceed to Checkout to pay.

  7. Confirmation.

    • After payment, the order confirmation shows the pass and scheduled events.

    • The customer can view upcoming events and remaining punches in their account.

Notes & tips

  • Weekly limits reset on Monday. Customers can select additional events starting the next week.

  • Membership gating: If required, the membership picker appears during checkout so customers can add it to the cart.

  • Not all events must be selected now. Customers can return later to redeem remaining punches (subject to availability and limits).

Troubleshooting

  • “I can’t select more events.” You’ve likely hit the weekly punch limit or the event is full.

  • “The pass option isn’t showing.” Ensure the pass is configured as Global and targeted to this program/session; also verify it’s not hidden from online registration.

  • “Why is the price different?” Taxes, required memberships, and selected add‑ons affect the total.
