Add, remove, or extend session segments

Add a segment, remove an empty one, or add events to a segment and copy its participants.

Weekly camps and segmented classes rarely go exactly to plan. You can now add, remove, or extend a session's segments anytime, right from the Segments tab on the session's Schedule: add a week, drop an empty one, or add a make-up day and bring that segment's roster with it.

➕ Add a segment

  1. Open the program, then the session. Go to Schedule and select the Segments tab.

  2. Click Add Segment.

  3. Enter the Segment name, then set the Dates and activity times.

  4. Optional: under Capacity & Waitlist, turn on Override session capacity configuration to set a max number of participants, enable a waitlist, or display remaining spots. Leave it off to use the session's settings.

  5. Click ADD SEGMENT.

ℹ️ Existing registrants aren't added to the new segment. All-segment products include it from now on, at their current price.

🗑️ Delete an empty segment

Created one too many weeks? You can delete any segment that has no active registrations. The last remaining segment in a session can't be deleted.

  1. On the Segments tab, open the segment's row menu.

  2. Choose Delete Segment, then confirm with Delete segment.

Good to know: deleting a segment permanently removes its events and waitlist entries, and all-segment products no longer include it. This can't be undone. Carts started before the delete still check out, but customers aren't charged or registered for the removed segment.

📅 Add events to an existing segment and copy its participants

Need a make-up day or a bonus session? Add it to the segment and bring that segment's attendees along in one click.

  1. On the Segments tab, open the segment's row menu and choose Add Events. (Or use Add Event on the Schedule and pick the Segment first.)

  2. Set the date and time. Use Add Another Event to add more than one.

  3. Turn on Copy registered attendees onto the new events.

  4. Click ADD EVENTS. If there's a scheduling conflict you'll see a warning, but it won't block you.

Every event on the Schedule tab shows its segment, so you can see at a glance which block it belongs to.

FAQ

Why is Delete Segment greyed out?

The segment still has active registrations. Only segments with no active registrations can be deleted, and the last remaining segment in a session can't be deleted. Move or remove the registered participants from that segment first (see Participant Management for Segments), then delete it. If you'd rather keep the segment, you can leave it in place.
