Redeem passes in the reservation flow: pick the customer's pass, see how many uses are left, and book. If the pass covers the booking, there is no cart and no invoice. Edits, cancellations, and refunds keep the balance right.
Redeem a pass on a new reservation
Start a New Reservation and select the customer.
On the reservation segment, set the product to Pass product.
Choose the space or instructor and the Activity.
Under Pass selection, choose Redeem to use a pass the customer owns, or Purchase to sell a pass and use it now.
Open the Pass list. Each pass shows uses left and expiry (for example, 7/10 · Exp. Jan 10, 2027), with the soonest expiry first.
Pick the date and time. Bond shows how many uses the booking will take before you confirm.
Finish the reservation. If the pass covers everything, it books straight away. Add-ons are charged as usual.
Pass product segment → Redeem → pass picker (7/10 uses left) → balance on the customer profile.
How uses are counted
Time rounds up to the next full use. Booking 90 minutes on a 1-hour pass uses 2. Times longer than the remaining balance can't be selected.
A 90-minute booking on a 1-hour pass takes 2 uses.
Expired passes: used-up passes don't appear in the picker. An expired pass that still has uses left shows in red, and you can still choose it.
Sell and redeem in one go
Customer doesn't have a pass yet? Choose Purchase under Pass selection, pick the pass product, and the purchase goes to the cart. The customer pays once and the booking uses the new pass.
Edit a pass booking
Change a booking and you're asked whether to return or keep the uses, so balances stay right.
Shorten the time: the freed use can be returned to the pass.
Extend the time: another use is taken from the pass.
Move the booking at the same length: nothing changes.
Mass edit can move pass bookings to a new time or resource without touching balances, but it can't swap the product or change the length. To do that, cancel and rebook.
Shortening a pass booking and returning the use.
Adding time to a pass booking takes another use.
For general editing steps, see Editing Rental Events.
Cancel a pass booking
Open the reservation and delete the pass booking (from the slots grid or the calendar).
Confirm the delete. Bond shows how many uses are on the booking.
Choose Return to put the uses back on the pass, or Keep to leave them used (for example, for a late cancellation).
Delete a pass booking → choose return or keep → balance updates on the profile.
Refund a pass purchase
Open the pass purchase invoice and click Refund.
Select Refund and Void on the pass line.
When asked whether to cancel the pass: Yes cancels it. No refunds the money and keeps the remaining uses active as a goodwill gesture.
Finish the refund. You're reminded to cancel any upcoming bookings made with the pass; they aren't cancelled automatically.
Refund and Void → cancel the pass? → refund complete → pass status on the profile.
Check balances on the customer profile
Answer "how many do I have left?" instantly. Open the customer or family profile and go to Activities → Passes. Each pass shows uses left, purchase date, expiry, status, and payment. Rental and lesson passes are labeled Rental Pass.
Activities → Passes: a Court Pass with 7 of 10 uses left.
A Private Lesson Pass with 3 of 5 uses left.

FAQ
Can customers redeem passes online?
Not yet. In an upcoming release, your customers will be able to buy and redeem passes in the online booking portal and see pass activity in their profile.
Does a pass booking create an invoice?
Not when the pass covers the whole booking. You'll only see a cart and invoice if you add add-ons or buy a pass in the same reservation.
Does peak pricing apply to pass bookings?
No. Passes don't have peak / off-peak pricing; a use covers the booked time whenever it falls.
